This prenatal visit will take place around 36 weeks at your birthing location (home or OKC Birth Center) with your Midwife. The postpartum visit will take place around 5-7 days postpartum in your home.
2 Prenatal Visits + Full Labor Support + 2 Postpartum Visits

These 2 prenatal visits will take place around 28 weeks at your Midwife’s office and 36 weeks at your birthing location (home or OKC Birth Center). The 2 postpartum visits will take place around 5-7 days postpartum in your home and around 2 weeks PP at your Midwife’s office.
What is the difference between a Birth Doula and a Midwife Assistant?
A Birth Doula is a non-medical support person whose entire focus is YOU – your comfort, emotions, and experience. They are present for mental, physical, and informational support for you and your husband.
A Midwife Assistant works under the Midwife and helps with the clinical and logistical side of birth. They have a more hands-on role and assist with taking vital signs, newborn care, and setup/cleanup during labor and birth.
